Fight other players in different kinds of modes.

Introduction

Battlegrounds is a PVP mode that's always active on the server, allowing players to compete in various types of matches. After each battleground, players receive War Badges as rewards. These badges can be exchanged for special equipment exclusive to battlegrounds, which can only be used within these matches. Additionally, players can obtain consumable buff items that enhance their strength both inside and outside of the battlegrounds.

Battlegrounds will be announced in the server announcements, players can join by typing @joinbg.

Battleground modes

Battlegrounds feature various modes, each with its own unique strategy and winning criteria. Explore the tabs below to learn more about each mode.

Bossnia

This mode is a mixture of PvP and PvM, with each team having to capture and hold a neutral flag in the middle of the arena. Capturing this flag makes the opposite team's Boss vulnerable to attacks! Each team has 3 Bosses and they get continually harder each time! After each Boss' death, the central flag returns to neutral, meaning either team must re-capture it in order to damage the opposite team's Boss. Once all 3 Bosses of a team are dead, they are declared the winner

Capture the Flag

Each team must collaborate to capture the enemy's flag and return it to their own base! While carrying the flag, your movement speed is slowed, you can't use items or skills, and your HP will drain quickly. But be careful if the opposing team has your flag, you won’t be able to capture theirs! A strong defense is just as important as a solid offense. The first team to score two points wins!

Conquest

In this thrilling siege-style version of the War of Emperium v2, two teams will face off: one as the defenders and the other as the attackers, with the goal of either holding the castle or capturing the Emperium.

Battle Setup:

Defenders will start within the castle, fortifying their position and protecting key objectives.
Attackers will attempt to break through the castle’s defenses, destroying barricades and eventually capturing the Emperium.

Siege Objectives:

The attacking team must break through a series of barricades (numbered 1, 2, 3, etc.) to advance towards the Emperium.
Each barricade represents a specific objective that the attackers must destroy within a strict 6-minute time limit. If they fail to complete the objective within the time limit, the defenders win that stage of the battle.
The defenders will use strategic positioning, traps, and all available means to stall, delay, and defend each objective.

Victory Conditions:

Attackers win by successfully capturing the Emperium after breaking through all barricades.
Defenders win if the attackers fail to destroy each barricade and capture the Emperium within the allotted 6-minute time frames for each objective

Domination

In this capture the base PvP mode, teams must work together to seize control of strategic bases. To capture a base, your team must be the only one inside (uncontested). Once your team has control, you'll start earning points. But watch out—while you're capturing, you must also defend the base from the opposing team. The first team to reach 99 points wins!

Double Inferno

This PvP mode is all about pure combat—no capturing, no defending, and no flag carrying. When a player is defeated, they drop their skull. Your team’s goal is to collect these skulls and deliver them to one of the four designated points in the corners of the map. The first team to deliver 50 skulls wins the match!

Rush

In this War of Emperium v1 style mode, both teams rush to capture the Emperium right from the start. Once a team successfully takes control of the Emperium, they must hold and defend it for 6 minutes. If they fail to defend it within that time, the team that captures it afterward will claim victory!

Stone Control

In this battleground, the goal is to collect the 6 stones located in the center of the map and bring them back to your team's base. Each stone you gather earns your team points over time. But beware your opponents can invade your base and steal your stones to score for their team. While carrying a stone, you can’t use items or skills, and your HP will deplete rapidly. The first team to reach 99 points wins!

Team Deathmatch

It's a classic team deathmatch where both teams face off, battling to rack up the most kills! The score starts at 99 and counts down to 0. The first team to reach 0 wins the match!

To claim your rewards you can browse the NPCs in the bottom right corner of the Novus Plaza, these shops sell items for War Badge
