Excavation Site

To access the Excavation Site, speak with Marius in the Novus Lobby at coordinates 54,54. Keep in mind that the site, located on a volcanic island, is only available during certain operating hours.

To enter the Excavation Site you do need to have your Novus Mining Hat equipped at all times, purely for safety reasons.

Novus Mining Hat

Nathan's Helmworks began his business by crafting the Novus Mining Hat. His shop is located in the main town at coordinates 48,24. He requires the following items from the player:

Flashlight x100
Oil Paper x100
Iron x100
Hat [1] x5
Matchstick x1
Novus Coin x2

How to start mining

To start mining just simply click 1 of the crystals around the map and after 5 hits you will receive a reward.

There is a small chance that your mining attempt may fail, resulting in no reward.

Unidentified Minerals & Bullions

After working hard in the Excavation Site doing alot of mining, you can head over to the Prospector Percival to let your Unidentified Minerals be prospected, and to the Precious Metal Dealer Petrov for handing those shiny bullions.

Prospector

Prospector Percival is located in the Novus Lobby at coordinates 148,45. As his name implies, his job is to prospect the Unidentified Minerals he receives. For one prospecting attempt, he requires Unidentified Mineral x15. Here are the possible results:
